Il Bowie postumo arriva a settembre con “Who can I be now?”

C’era da aspettarselo dall’industria musicale. La morte di David Bowie è ancora notizia fresca di annata e già è stata confermata l’uscita di un album postumo riguardante il duca bianco. Fortunatamente il rilascio del disco “Who can I be now?” pare fosse già in cantiere prima della scomparsa della (black)star londinese, poiché è dedicato al periodo 1974-1976, e rappresenta la naturale continuazione di “Five years 1969-1973”, cofanetto rilasciato nel 2015.

Al contrario di quanto si era inizialmente vociferato, pare non ci saranno vere e proprie nuove canzoni nel box-set, ma bensì soltanto rimasterizzazioni di alcuni album degli anni 70 e vecchie registrazioni mai rilasciate di brani già editi.

Chi acquisterà il cofanetto, in vendita dal 23 settembre, potrà trovare all’interno anche un libretto con numerose fotografie dell’epoca, scattate da Eric Stephen Jacobs, Steve Schapiro, Tom Kelley , Terry O’Neill e Geoff MacCormack.

Ricco, bello, dolce e simpatico nella vita precedente. In questa invece, nasco a Lecce il 18 luglio del 1989 da una famiglia di professori. Mia madre insegna Lettere in una Scuola Media di provincia e mio padre, adesso pensionato, era insegnante di Educazione Fisica. Dopo il diploma commerciale ho lavorato come impiegato in un Centro di Medicina Nucleare per un anno e mezzo, ma purtroppo in seguito ai tagli alla sanità pugliese, all’inizio del 2011 mi sono ritrovato disoccupato. Nel 2013 ho conseguito la laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione e adesso frequento la facoltà Magistrale di Lettere Moderne. Importante è stata per la mia formazione professionale, l’esperienza come responsabile comunicazione e social per il sito Cometiveste.it, di cui sono il fondatore con altri due ragazzi. Canto in una band da due anni e adesso ci stiamo dedicando anche allo sviluppo di alcuni progetti inediti. Ho sempre scritto testi musicali, poesie, ma anche saggi brevi sugli argomenti più disparati e nei miei articoli mi piace osservare la società con occhio critico. Oltre a un’ ipotetica carriera nell’ambito dell’insegnamento, molto difficile visti i tempi che corrono, mi piacerebbe continuare a dedicarmi alla critica musicale e sociale. Non amo molto dire cose ovvie e in generale, non mi piace stare dalla parte del più forte. Da un po’ di tempo collaboro con questo blog che credo stia diventando un punto di riferimento importante per chi ama la musica e i suoi retroscena. Spero di essere all’altezza del compito e poter interessare i lettori a quelle che sono le mie idee e i miei pensieri.
